Chromecast

Morning all, I am having trouble registering my chromecast on the Port Solent WIFI and am wondering if anyone has been successful in doing this and if so how ? TIA Gary.

Hi Gary, I have a smart TV an iPad and a Roku TV stick, I cant log in on any, I'm on E, its a very weak signal, very annoying as we need Wi-Fi in this day and age, the marina advertise Wi-Fi but I don't have it, I can sometimes log on with iPhone and iPad but its always dropping out so I don't bother.

Thanks for your reply but my tablet logs on ok and i can watch mobdro etc ok but my chromecast says this wifi is not supported and i need to log on even when my tablet is logged on and working fie

I also berth at Port Solent, and haven't found the Wi-Fi to be much use, so I use Wi-Fi onboard with a EE data SIM, I can stream without any issues. There is an option to upgrade your free Wi-Fi, but at a cost.
