Christmas on Board again

We had not done it fo a few years so we thought we would try it again.
We manged the full monty Christmas meal too, not bad on a thirty foot Sprts boat with a single electric hob and microwave!

Ok I had a little help, but I would recommend one of these to anybody and twenty odd quid from Lidl.

Its a litle two shelf fan oven and grill and did the Yorkshires, roast spuds and parsnips perfectly.
It was a bit cold cooking up in the cockpit though.
Didnt actually leave the marina as we only have electric heaters but it was a great escape for 4 days. Might save up and get Deisel heating put in for next year.

Fantastic, Its great hear and read about people doing things like that with there boat.
Never managed christmas, but we once spent hogmany on our boat, never felt the cold at all was far to pissed for that!!! lol

We stayed on board last Valentine's night, -4 degrees!

Hoping to be out on Fri AM, overnite at Portishead and then back up to Bristol.
Should be a good test for my new "cold and wet" clothes!
