Choosing props for a Princess 30DS

My boat is a Princess 30 DS of 1982, with twin Volvo petrols AQ175A on 280 Outdrives. The AQ175s are 3.8lts V6 with max revs of 4800. She had been used on the river by previous owners; her performance has been very poor; after other work I now need new props. I should add that the boat has only got fixed trim plates.
The Volvo literature shows the option of 'long hub' 15x15 or 16x13. The latter seems ok to me but it's a costly experiment if it doesn't work out.
If anyone has got practical experience with this boat in my configuration, I would appreciate a lot to hear about it. Which props used / top speed at what kind of revs?

What makes you think you need new props?

What revs are you achieving etc.

Performance could be engine. Props yes if they have been changed - do you suspect they are not original ?

The current props are not Volvo parts, they are 14x15 and damaged. Max revs were about 4000 and only 13kn. Of course it could have been engine power, or a fauled hull, I have been looking into both. The boat is out of the water and I need to chose props.
