I think Hurricane's post must be on the other thread about dinghy chocks, he included some photos iirc.

Looking again at your pics, the chocks would be a bit easier to remove with your design because the round bit of the keyhole is drilled into solid. On mine it's a hole in a plate, so it's more difficult to line up both mushroom heads with their corresponding holes.

The only reason I am not just fitting pins like hurricane is that I will be launching and recovering my tender by hand so it will be push it off drag it on so to speak so I need the chocks securing to the boat so I don't loose them when I am trying to launch the tender and don't want to accidently push the chocks into the sea when doing so
