I had error E03. Failed glow plug message. Voltage was good. But when i took unit apart, the glow plug was LOOSE. Hoping that is the problem. Have not had time to test the plug yet. So moral is look at it before buying a new one.
Post script - if i find it has failed anyone know a cheap supplier of them . It has a green and white wire and orange silicone cap.

You can test by connecting to 12v but just briefly
as they are only 8v,or measure resistance at around 0.8 ohm.
Thanks for that information. As it was loose i am hoping that is the cause. Cant get much combustion with a big old gap is my thinking. Will test as you say.
Cant find them for the good old prices of £10 so hoping this on is still good.

I like to treat complicated machinery from china as a loosely assembled kit of parts; sometimes I am pleasantly surprised that it's well assembled, sometimes not.

How long do the plugs seem to last? Just wondering about getting a spare at some point (and where from- I'm not in the UK at the moment)

That certainly used to be the case with their motorbikes as well, has to be said they are getting better though...

If mine is still ok that is over a year of use. Others have had better.
