Chinese heater control unit

My Chinese heater unit that replaced a webasto heater has worked well for 2 seasons now but my memory of how I got it going has failed!!
The control unit is one with 5 buttons around the display. The two on the left have a spanner above and OK below. to the right is up>, on/off and down<.

Needless to say t he manual doesn't cover think control unit in english that I understand.
Anyone help me to turn it on again? Worked well before Xmas.

Press and hold the on button, if it’s like mine. Then up arrow to turn it to max. It will probably come on with ‘3’ showing, that is middle heat.

There are oodles and oodles of stuff on YouTube about how all sorts of controllers work. Including stuff you never knew that they could do.

As another says ... there are loads of online Youtube vids showing all sorts of controllers ... plus a google of Diesel Heaters will throw up loads of pages ebay etc. .. a shufty through them will no doubt bring up one that has similar to yours ??

On the right hand side of the controller
Press the middle button on the right side (power on / off)
the Button above (arrow pointing up) increase temperature
The button below (arrow pointing down) decrease temperature
To switch off press and hold the middle button
