Chinese diesel heaters, what parts to replace and add for safe marine use?

120w solar is very respectful for an 18ftr.
I do wonder if a peltier cell could be rigged up to allow a heater to generate its own electrical supply (obviously you'd still need a battery for startup).
I have a 60w panel to install and it just happens to fit half of my sliding hatch, so I can put another on the other half. I'm hoping to get her self sufficient for up to a couple of weeks if poss, but at least a week.

Thats a good steer, how long have you had yours running? still happy with it? Do you have any idea of how many a/hrs yours is using when running?

I've only just bought it, still in the box but the guys on the Chinese Heater Facebook group love the Lavaner. The manufacturer (not just a Chinese wholesaler) is also on there and very helpful. The 2kw is a proper 2kw as well, they have UK stock that you can buy through Aliexpress, I assume a lot of the cheaper Chinese heaters come direct from China?
