Went under the M25 which was at a standstill then made our 180 and headed back up river

Back at Limehouse

Off to La Figa tonight which is round the corner from the marina have had some great meals in here but last time we visited was not so good

Need not have worried the food and service was excellent

This little birdie made her nest next to the visitors pontoon and the eggs started hatching while we were there

We were given 20% off vouchers for The Narrow which is owned by Gordon Ramsey positioned right on the river by the entrance to Limehouse Marina
Had superb table with views up and down the river

Unfortunately our food was served up cold! what a disappointment

Were given free cocktails and our pre dinner drinks on the house

Monday time to head home yet again glorious sunshine no problems made Shepperton and stopped overnight at the Thames Court

Fed up with fine dining was happy to be here and had a delicious burger

Tuesday picked up an extra crew member at Runnymead for a very wet cruise home back to Temple

Great pics. :encouragement:

But that's not a birdie. It's a bathing platform rat, known to cost boat owners months of lost cruising time:disgust:

Great pics thank you.
I love Limehouse but getting a little expensive now and the visitor moorings are a long way from the shower block.
Have you tried the Grapes? it's a proper pub and a fab little restaurant upstairs.

Yes we did visit the Grapes for a drink , had a meal upstairs last time we visited Limehouse and was not that impressed, After lots of people telling us how good the fish and chips was! also a bit cramped up there too
