Chichester harbour meets...

No, never seen anyone. Well thats nor strictly true. Never seen anyone on the water. I have one of those forum flappy things that I hoist to the s'bd spreader. It just makes a noise and interupts my afternoon nap. So I don't bother anymore

Only by way of the Poole (well, Yarmouth in the end) cruise last year, which had a few Chichester boats. There is a Chichester Marina forum group, but there's not been any activity on it for a couple of years.

Well at least I wont be reported on here for faulty sailing skills whenn I venture out in the harbour.......do boats have lace curtains!

A few of us used to meet up at East Head and barbecue on the beach up to a couple of years ago. Mixture of mobos and sail. I do remember that we used to get a bit wet on the way back to the boats  Then there is the charity day out on the water in August, for disadvantaged youngsters. That goes to East Head.

Odd because I have never come across anyone - will try and join the charity event if I can - think I met Old Harry once and also Galadriel but that doesn't count, it was on the land !

I used to do the same . I only once ever saw another one - on a big Mobo!
Aren't you two based up at Thornham? If so, you pass me every time you head south ... ;)

I would have been keen, but due to health I'm not launching my boat this season, concentrating on a refit.

If people don't fly the forum burgee they're never going to meet up unless pre-planned or boat names are known, so it requires a tiny bit of effort.

What forum burgee, does YBW sell mugs, fridge magnets and polo shirts  Bit late now but I think I would rather be anonymous instead of being seen as some saddo spending his entire life on a forum :o

hlb Haydn organises the burgees, but I don't know if one should bother him right now, he's had an awful time.
