How does Chichester compare to anywhere else?
About £80 seems cheap to me?

Portsmouth - £0.00
Portsmouth does not explicitly have harbour dues for achts, but all the moorings (or most of them) pay a license to Crown Commissioners. AFAIK, many of the clubs are also paying e.g. yearly fees for slipway use.
So it would be wrong to think very much is free in Portsmouth.
WOW, you have a fantastic deal there. I'd keep quiet about it otherwise you might find the harbour quadrupling it, just to keep up with market forces.the dues for my wee 8 and a bit metre boat have gone up from £65.53 last year to £81.14 this - a 24% increase.
Langstone - £85.20 for a boat over 7.62m
Hamble - £129.28
Cowes - £167.04
Bembridge - £120.00
Lymington - £298.00
