Chichester Bar Beacon - What hit it?

I noticed the Bar Beacon at a rather jaunty angle over Xmas. Apparently it was hit around October time. Anyone know what hit it? I seem to remember some dredging going on around that time - was it the dredger?

Accidents do happen.
I remember sailing in there a few years ago and the beacon was draped with the remains of a big white spinnaker.

They were dredging the entrance about the time it happened so could speculate it was either the dredger or barge that did it. It is speculation though as I haven't seen anything where it has been said how it happened. Perhaps whoever did it was not seen and did not report it.
