Indeed, they have been on 'two way' traffic every tine I have visited.

Don't recal meeting much in the way big stuff moving around there, certainly nothing approaching Dover's intensity.

No. Nothing like Dover but apparently its the biggest fishing port in Northern France. Has ships in the inner basins and fast patrol boats. Some if the fishing boats are big so I suppose that's why port control do their thing.. plus operating all the locks ...
