Chentleman\'s Cruise re-visited

Finally got around to writing up my (highly coloured) version of this event here. Apologies in advance for any errors or sins of omission

Dave

Ps - If any of the participants have any photos (particularly of Avilion under sail) that they are prepared to share, please PM me for my email address.

Re: Chentleman\'s Cruise re-visited

Almost felt I was there, and tempted to chuck my cap 'umbly into next years cruise hopefuls for early interview with a view to participation, although I do understand I'd expect some abuse as a tome-come-lately. I liked the pace of your epistle and felt my biorythm relax into syncopation.

Now that I've come round again, I note that my hero only ever flies his mighty grey colossaker when it's a whispy calm or a slight head-zephyr. Is this normal in these genteel waters?

Nice read Dave. Been pretty lucky with that Ordnance Survey road atlas so far, but might be better getting a chart. No?

Personally, I only ever tell people that I've got a massive one and avoid letting it out of the bag at any time it might be exposed to the wind, in case it catches a chill, you understand.
