Can someone advise how easy it is to check in at Kos? Have done it before in Symi and you have to walk right round the harbour and back as two offices are opposite sides. Leaving Turkey in May to spend some time in Greece. We are VAT paid.
Changing crew in Kos so would be easier to check in there if no hassle. Presume same costs at both ports.

Assuming you're all EU nationals, it seems to be easy and chaeap enough almost everywhere, apart from eccentricities at one or two places (amongst whose number I've never heard Kos). If you still have your old DEKPA it will help. Check out the relevant Cruising Assocation pages, and/or JimB's for the latest info.

Things may have changed a bit since we was there , the kos Marina and Kos harbour where about the same cost , the Marina had a PP station there in the summer months so it was very easy to check on or out , the harbour , PP office was just a short walk from the harbour along the road front again , no problems to speak off ,

Kos Town Harbour - Customs and immigration are at the bottom left of the horseshoe harbour where the ferries dock. Police etc just a few minutes walk to the top of the horseshoe in the imposing building with war statues outside. ie same layout as Symi but not as far to walk.
(I dont know about Kos Marina)
