I don't know about the rest of the Thames, but between Molesey and Teddington it's flooding. At lease 2 to 3ft up from normal. Another inch and my boat would have slipped the poles and made its way downstream! I'm glad I checked!

The tide must be in. Flow at Teddington was 250 cumecs earlier today.
 
Spring tide up to the cill of the weir perhaps?

I recall Bream fishing in the weirpool from the Island in the '60's when the level below the weir rose enough to back the flow above up, causing it to rise a fair bit.

We had to keep moving our gear to higher ground. When the tide turned the level dropped quite quickly.
