Check this out - really made me laugh!

The Advanced Elements is an inflatable, it just has a small frame to give shape to the bow. There's no assembly, you just blow it up the same as the Sevylor, and the frame automatically pops into position. I got the one man as it was on special in Decathlon Antibes. It's noticably faster than the two man Sevylor, even if the Sevylor has two blokes in it, but I certainly agree its not worth the extra dough unless you plan to use it seriously

Not very good picture, but:

Sorry no, radio controlled tugboats isn't a subject I've studied in depth! Good point though - anyone on here have a radio controlled toy/tender? What make is best? Any good pranks (like covering it in a balsa wood dorsal fin, driving it around anchorages while playing the Jaws music)?

Ah, right, thanks, didn't know about those. Will have to take a trip to Decathlon, never been there. I was mixing up with the non-inflate foldaway canoes, like these or these which are pretty serious and $2000 upwards kinda price

Someone is gonna tell you off for not wearing a lifejacket :-)

I have a huge lifejacket attached to my lower half /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The AE canoe is in my lazarette if you wanted to try it out. The seat was missing and i'm waiting for a new one, but you can easily rig one from the Sevylor temporarily.
