I could manage a couple of weeks with tinned food including sever FB steak pies. but way back in 1993 i helped deliver a boat from Dover to Lymington over night, the owner assured there was loads of food on board so we picked the boat up in Dover and set off December hard frost for the last week and change, no soft furnishings on board and nothing to open any of the tins, after rummaging about we managed to find a screwdriver with this we opened a few cans but there was no cutlery the owner must have stripped the boat of everything. We arrived in Yachthaven marina Lymington rather late at least it was very dark to find ice on the marina. I was very glad I had my boat there to warm up and get some food and sleep. The friend I went with got a train back to Dover for his car, I haven't done any deliveries since.
