In my search for a better deal on anodes I have discovered MME engineering in Faversham. They make anodes for big ships, windfarms etc. and are now looking to supply to the small boat market.
The best thing after the great service was the price. Hull anodes in the chandlers are around £48.00, just under £20.00 from MME. Similar savings on shaft anodes too.
No connection, just a very happy customer.

So all good then.
Having talked to the people in the office and done my own research prior to buying, I was happy with the company.
Thanks for the confirmation of my findings.

And me. bit of a clanky web site but good prices and nice to do business with. They're agents for MME. Solent Anodes are good too.

Used zincsmart for years, but this year their prices seem to have gone up considerably compared to last year, ring and bar zinc anodes are at least 25% more than last year, anyone else noticed that. So no longer cheap and now similar price to other suppliers, but obviously it is not just about price but the quality.

I use Zincsmart. (They will also supply a modified/machined Volvo saildrive ring anode to fit the Ambassador rope cutter).

Thanks for that info. I always use Zincsmart too - good quality, reliable and reasonable prices. But, I paid some unbelievable price for a modded anode for D130 to allow for the Amb cutter from elsewhere. Well over double the std one. I didn't see it listed on the ZS website, so assumed they didn't do it (red face for not asking) Is it a special order?
