A set of 40 supplied here as bunting. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NAUTICAL-.../380336826562?pt=UK_Flags&hash=item588dd768c2

I have a set of flags so don't need them, but it occurs to me that these are a lot cheaper than buying a set, and could be cut apart with a hot knife and have some 3mm strings sewn on for a fraction of the cost of buying a set, and probably be perfectly good for occasional use or as additional letters to add to an existing set.

I have a similar set. had them for donkeys years, from long before computers let alone eBay.

Rather small for serious use as individual flags I say. A terrible lot of faffing about to cut the string up and stitch onto ropes

Buy 'em as bunting to decorate the club house by all means but buy proper code flags if you want code flags.

Btw mine are not stitched together in the "correct" order for decorating the ship. To short anyway!
