Anyone know any cheap places to get my speedboat seats recovered?

And i want the same. Have been quoted £500 but i think thats a bit steep??

Im in notts and would prefer somewhere local.

Two bucket seats, with cricket-ball seams, 150 each, bench seat 100, two rear up-rights 50 each, three colour vinyl, blue piping, take away the cost of the vinyl, his machines, his skills

How much do you want him to pay you for doing the job?

£500 IS cheap.

£500 is a good price. I'm having all the cockpit upholstery recovered and new foam on a 33 ft cruiser which includes helm and nav seat for £900 and consider that excellent value. They did my last boat to and an excellent job.

Based NW, if you want their details let me know.

No connection, happy customer etc.

Ill go see him today then and see when he can fit me in. I always thought that it was about £200 to recover some car seats which these essentially are.

Try a caravan or car re-trimmer - I had the cockpit and cabin re-trimmed for £540 on a 23' boat - but that WAS cheap and it was also about 10 years ago - it would cost more like £800+ now so I think he's quoting a good price, but the only way to know is to try some other places....

Think you are living in a fantasy world. Most of the cost will be labour, so the only way to reduce it is to use your own labour.
