SWMBO came back yesterday from the Pound shop (Gosport) with a 24 led (white) "emergency "light array, in neat plastic case and sockets for 4 x AA batteries.
Tested it last night with 4 x 2500 ma Li Iron batteries ( Lidl £2.99) and the light output was excellent and ideal for a boat cabin. So the array costs £1 and the batteries £2.99, and are said to last for 30 hours (Duracell) not rechargeables. As the input is 6 volts am considering two in series linked to the boats house battery bank for a massive £2!
