Just to add - off a Honda EU10i (1000w unit rated at 900w continuous), The biggest charger we could run was a 60A unit. This was a Dolphin unit - other 60A models with lesser PFC electronics tripped it out. Normal recommendation was for a maximum of a 40A charger (quality make with PFC).
