Think it might give off a lot of noxious fumes maybe! I don't think the spirit heaters do like the Origo but it's a lot smaller i think. Helpful aren't I

The Corona appears to be OK. As I said the CO alarm is not activated. If the instructions are followed re turning off there is very little smell and it will do 15 hours plus at high heat on 4 litres of "ROLF"-REDUCED ODOUR LIQUID FUEL" and produces almost no condensation, at least not on our particularly well ventilated boat. I was very concious regarding CO fumes and so far all is well. I would NEVER consider leaving it on whilst sleeping. First one up for a leak in the morning turns it on and 25 minutes later its nice and toasty. The fuel tank is removeable and is stored in a hanging container in the starboard lazarette when sailing so it does not spill. It lives when not in use secured with a shockcord under the salon table. When shorepower is available we use a fan heater.Oh- it will also boil the kettle if it is placed on top. This weekend I will test my latest modification. I have screwed a redundant 12v computer fan to an 8 inch piece of anodised alloy angle. It will stand on the top of the Corona and should blow the rising heat across the salon instead of it going up to the ceiling. I'll let you know.................
