Cheap boat Anyone ?

Sadly, very few of the old crowd still around. Brian Goodfellow and Harry Chessun (who's still on Goose at Windsor) left now and that's about it. PHYC was a fantastic club back in those days.

Trying to remember some of the old names .

Paul Homer was there.
Gary ( was Vic's son i think ) and Kevin from Silver Pacer
Wally off Sandyman
Jim and Vi Baxter and their kids Carl and Lisa ( Boat was Lady Carlisa ) wonder where that is now ?
Glynn ( can't remember surname ) had another lovely Freeman 30
Stuart and Jane on Bellevue

I can remember my dad dressed up as one of the seven dwarves at a club night , i think it was for disadvantaged kids ?

I saw my first body at PHM too , on pier 1A !

Jesus, his stumps alone would scare the kids, there was no need to dress up.....

Heather (was married to Paul Homer) is still connected with the club.
I remember Lady Carlisa, Bellevue and Silver Pacer.
Wally with Sandyman - once met never forgotten :D
Brian Goodfellow - White Diamond (designed and built by Brian)
Harry Chessun - Goose of Hamble
Laurie Chessun - Imader
John Buchann - Deux Poissons
John Parrott - Sea Lion 42 (can't remember the name)
Mick Martin - Lady Debs, Silver Seal
Laurie Brooks - Braemar 35 (can't remember the name but it was the only one ever built)
Ian Graham - Rhubodoch (wrong spelling but an Ocean 37 I crewed on many times as his wife hated boats)
Phil Fine - Broom/Ocean IIRC
Geoff Goodyear - Can't remember the boat
Ed Robinson - Mama Gail (RLM 32) American guy working over here on the NATO radar defence ring who got very drunk with my dad one night and ended up with dad selling him a California spec TR6 to take home with him to the US :D
Loads more that unfortunately are hazy memories now.

I also remember a body on 1A. Wife of a club member who fell in after a very heavy night in the clubhouse.

Not bovvered but thought I would draw attention to the fact that this is probably the most extreme case of Fred Drift we have had on this forum - unless, of course, anyone knows better? :D

Isn't it time we had an update on the river conditions Ted? even if theres no change would be nice to see todays date so we know its current?

Oh, and do try not to obsess about dead bodies - ain't healthy :D

Wot with pre-pubescent teens confessions and people dressing up as dwarves I'm wondering what comes next .......

To be fair it is still mildly related to Penton Hook...where the boat in question is moored...

Sorry for the thread drift, will make this the last one! :D

TL remember all those, Glynn's surname was Owen.

So to drag out my memories..
Paul and Heather Homer (Heather is still there)
Ted and Anne Lukey - Lady Selina
Rosemary and Jacques Croizat - Blighs Spirit
Lincoln and Lesley Hall - Vulcan Princess
Wally Pidgeon
John and Pauline Parrymore (still there)
David and Naomi Bradbury - Trionix (Naomi is still there)
Hazel and Dudley
Celia and Tony Slater (Celia is still there)
Ray Froude - Jolly Frenchmen (still there)
Don and Audrey Reeve - Holly II (still there)

Many others as well, I just remember having a great time there which is why I love boats and the Thames today!

I'm not at work until 2200 , i could update the conditions now if you like , but it will be completely made up ? :D

'Tsunamis work their way down from the upper reaches or the Thames , destroying most weirs and locks , red boards are displayed at most surviving lock sites. The outlook is for the four horsemen to work their way over the Thames catchment area laying waste to all in their path. Run to high ground with your families if you can. '

That sort of thing ?
