Some more info HERE

If it performs as claimed could be useful if your navigation skill are not so good

Enables boats to glide smoothly over debris and rocks.

Epoxying is such a major job i don't think Id be prepared to waste all the effort by using a cheap product.

Really needs assessing under controlled conditions in a coatings test laboratory and in controlled field trials.

Or perhaps someone could buy some and try it out on their tender??

Posted as not everyone can afford a full Gelshield treatment. This may be a cheaper alternative as it looks like a 1 or 2 coat process as opposed to the Gelshield 200 5 coat minimum recommended system.
Also the rest of the website has some useful items for repair tasks on the car, at home or for the boat.

never used it but jotun penguard HB is similar... they also do a low tempreture hardner.... it's not expensive they use it on big boats and water tanks

It would need a good test. However agree that on a job like this, the cost of the product is a small % relative to the total cost. I wouldn´t risk it without testing...maybe it´s even better than West System barrier coat ?

It's a fair question, given that International materials are, shall we say, FUUULLLLLLLY priced.

But this is a coating unlike AF which if it doesn't work one year can be corrected the next season. Boats rarely get a gell coat more than once in their lives - the effort is too great.

I put Gell Shield on my last boat and this one. Yes, it cost in time and money. But it is an insurance that has to pay out. Unless there was good evidence of the claims for the new material I would stick with the old favourite which, on selling the boat, is immediately recognised and valued.
