cheap and easy gloop to help electrical connections

Silicone grease is the best but keep off electrical contacts until mated as its a very good insulator. Also may not be advisable if the seals are made from Silicone rubber.

Hot glue gun. Cheap, easy.
Not for internally on connectors and such but around so called waterproof glands where the cable is sealed but a poor seal on the gland nut holding it.
In a previous working life we used to seal made joints in a gland box that was then buried. Going back years later it was still waterproff and secure.
Can be removed easliy with application of just the right heat to soften it then peel.
