I am berthed at Chatham Maritime and live on St Mary's Island which is part of the development, the lock has 24 hours access it has floating pontoons within the lock to tie up to, staff are very helpful, fuel is available within the marina, they have a modern very clean floating toilet and shower block, not many facilities near by except for a local pub and restaurant the Ship & Trades about 10 minuets walk or take your tender to the far side of the marina and your there much easier, next door to the pub is a small convenience store also sells newspapers open until 11pm each night.

About 5 minutes walk to Chatham Historic dock yard.

Chatham town centre is about 5 minutes by taxi, for the Girls Bluewater Shopping centre (serious shopping) is about 20 minutes by road.

Re: Chatham Marina(the locals)

Oi if we cannot carry out our traditional crafts ie cutpursing or as it is more commonly known mugging how can we buy the required amount of chemical stimulents to see us through our long day of TWOCKing.
