From this answer in the qualification thread I feel perhaps you don't need charts. :-)

John Margarson on the Jester Yahoo Forum has suggested that second hand charts are available from a place in Northants that I could look up for you if necessary. Charts of the US coast are available free to download from the NOAA - once again I could give you a link if you require it.

Here is a link to the used chart seller in Northants:

I bought three charts from him in 2006. The North Atlantic, Eastern North Atlantic and Western North Atlantic.
You can download and print pilot charts from the NOAA from this link.

Hope it works as it is pretty long. I always take May, June and July with me. In 2007 on my return I would have like to have had August as well. And will make sure I take it this time.

Raster charts can be downloaded and printed from this site:

I found it useful to have copies of Marthas Vineyard and the area completely surrounding Nantucket. I had also taken a chart that covered the area from Nantucket to Block Island. In 2006 I had printed these out on A4 paper that I had joined and stuck together to make big charts. But I never got close enough to the US to use them. These would have been very useful but I forgot all my charts in 2007 except for little A4 chartlets of Marthas Vineyard and the area just south of Nantucket. They were sufficient however to get me through safely, but I did navigate only in the areas that I had the chartlets for as I was unsure as to what was in the other areas.

Their is also a very good fellow specialising in charts located at QAB marina in Plymouth which shoudl handle any last minute panics you might have about what you don't have. Also a good chart seller in Newport if you have similar panics on the way back.
