Charts for the east coast

hi Guys

Ive been given a two week house pass,so im thinking of sailing up the east Coats to Lindisfarne,what are the best charts for this area? i.e. imray or admiralty.

id like some with detail as im hoping to sail about 1/2 mile off the coast

You after paper or electronic ?, might be worth paying a visit when you get a chance, especially if you've got a laptop and h/h gps

dave after that poxy chartplotter packed in at Orford ness i want as many forms of navigation as is possible /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

im hoping to get my act together for the last two weeks in June

As I am not heading north this summer, I'll have a look at what I have on board this weekend. You are welcome to borrow whatever I have. I did have a full set for round the UK, but I am not sure that I planned to have detail of the east coast. All old but OK if you get a list of lights and an almanac.

Paper as much as possible but also got seaclear on the lappy now, should have the gps connected soon and I'll have that as a chart plotter (got charts all the way around the UK on it) even if Will comes back with a yes for my proper chart plotter
Paper backed up with two chart plotter systems might be a bit OTT to some, but I prefer it /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have Admiralty charts for the East Coast up to Inverness,
You are welcome to borrow them if you can get them collected from Lowestoft.

thanks for all the kind offers,its been 8 years since i have had a break longer then 3 days during the summer months,it all seems to be coming together,my new parts for my boat arrived today from the States(plonkers sent a small bracket by ship),ive just about finnished fitting my new AP,i have three new sails,new steering system.The last two weeks in june look like favourite.
