Charts for Smartphone running Symbian software (Nokia E71 or E61)

Hi, I have both these handsets with the e61 being relegated to running a TomTom 6 application in conjunction with a Nokia GPS box of tricks that connects to the phone using a bluetooth connection.. the E71 has built in GPS. They both have a Symbian operating system.

Now to the question /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif I've been trying to find a bit of software that will run on the phone(s) to give me the ability to navigate effectively and maybe even plot a course on the pc in advance of transfering it to the phone ready for the weekend..

Most applications I've found are either USA focused or don't run on the Nokia's (run on IPhone's and PDA's instead).

Has anyone found what I'm looking for and used it successfully for navigating the Solent and other UK inlands runs?

You could try looking at the Gamin XT software - that can read the 'old' blue chart maps (for the solent area), but no charts for inland waterways AFAIK.

Wouldn't it be cruel expecting the dog to swim that far? I've met Gary's dog and she's only a little thing.
