Charts for Norway (and Denmark and the Skagerrak)

Hello Folks,

I'm part of a Sail Training charity, and have been tasked with sourcing charts for this years Tall Ships Races. We usually buy Imray, as we get a generous discount from them, and they will get us to Cuxhaven / Kiel Canal, but we then need to go:

Up the West coast of Jutland, and through the inland waterways to Aalborg
Across the Skagerrak to Fredrikstad, Norway
Along the Norwegian coast to Bergen
Back across the Skagerrak to Aarhus
Down the east coast of Jutland to Kiel

I have found the NV leisure charts, which cover the Danish / German bits nicely (and am open to any alternative suggestions), but am struggling with with leisure style charts, which aren't stupidly expensive, for Norway. Does anybody have any recommendations? Oh, and she is coded boat, so we must carry up to date charts.

Many thanks

The NV charts are excellent. And they will also cover round Norway as far as Stavanger /Haugesund. Looks like the next pack up to Bergan may not be available yet.
However I believe you can download Norwegian charts free of charge, so that could be an option to fill the gap

PS Suggest you speak to the Cruising Association - they have a huge base of information about this area and reference charts in their library

The Norwegian "leisure" portfolio charts do cover remarkably small areas for the 500NOK? you are charged - if you want paper charts. I bought some in Haugesund and was a bit disappointed.
The Norwegian Electronic charting exists on-line and you can print from it if you have a reasonably large format printer. In some respects that makes sense - but it's not so handy as a printed regular chart.

I have the German Delius Klasing Set5 which is a carbon copy of the NV Set 3. It is 2018 and covers the north east coast of Jutland. I also have the NV Set 1 which covers the rest of the Jutland coast down to Kiel. However this is 2006.

PM me if interested.

Thank you for all the input. I missed the fact that the NV Norwegian Atlases are available in paper form, at least 1 - 6. I thought they were only electronic. Anyway, I can cover most of the area with NV Atlases, and get a couple of Norwegian sheets to get as far as Bergen. A thumbs up to Bookharbour who have offered us a generous discount, as a charity.
