Chartplotter/fish finder advice

Hello all
I’m looking for some advice/ recommendation for a chartplotter combo device for under about £600. And also best place to purchase. It’s only for occasional use in Bristol Channel mostly.
Has anyone done any research/purchased recently?

You won't get much for £600. Nothing that's any real good anyhow. You will also need a transducer , so you'll need to add that cost into the equation.
I'm a big fan of Garmin stuff, had it for years and it's never failed me. The more modern stuff can be paired with an app on your phone called "active captain". This allows you to update all your charts remotely.

And also simrad.
Yes, I realise the additional cost of the transducer never seems to be included.

The striker is not a chart plotter. That's why they are cheap.

Well if that's all your budget will stretch to then it'll be adequate. Just remember though that on split screen the chart and sonar pages will be tiny. Even on 7" single pages are small. If you can stretch to the 9" I'd do that.
