chartplotter back light

On my Raychart-420D the back light is playing-up .The contrast and all other functions are fine ! Any pointers on self-fix or is this back to the manufacturers. Forum help much appreciated /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It is going to be either the HV supply to the back light or the back light itself !
Sorry - back it's Raymarine for this one.
