Charter in La Manga Spain

I would like to charter from the La Manga/Cartagena area of Spain. I want a sailing crusier of around 10 to 11 meters. I have never chartered abroad before although have done in the UK for some years.

Does anyone have any knowledge of chartering in this particular area. I would be very interested in any advice and particulars of any boats for bareboat charter in the region.

Although I never chartered a boat myself in that area, I would suggest to look for possibilities in Torrevieja. I have been there a number of times and know that there are yachtbrokers in that town and the marina is quite big. Torrevieja is quite close to La Manga. There is also a marina at the entrance to the Mar Menor, called Tomas Maestre. I expect that it is possible to charter in one or both of these places.
