Charter deposit insurance

Just did a google and found this

Holidaysafe only cover the first £500 of the deposit, with an excess of iirc £100, so pretty useless.

My usual insurance company, Pantenius, won’t insure me because of Brexit.

Just tried Topsail, but they won’t insure just the deposit, and need me to buy travel insurance too. The insurance is not too much, and covers Search & Rescue, being as it a marine speciality product. In total, £220 to insure me plus a €1500 deposit. The policy by itself was £40, so that’s £180 just for the deposit insurance.

Anyone else out there recently insured their deposit, and want to compare notes?

Hi all.
I think it's mentioned elsewhere in forum, but https://www.schomacker.de/en/charter-insurance.html offer this type of cover.
I got cover for charter in Greece for next year (2020) - €3,000 for €260 plus €20 for dinghy cover.
Could not find anyone else overing independent cover.
