brilliant!!! Which is just as well, coz the bloody navman FAILED!! (gotta laugh...see previous thread
)
Anyway, soon got used to having 2 pricks in my hand...and of course the course plotter
and in no time at all (under Davids watchful eye) we were anchored up over at Osborne Bay. Absolutely 'kin BRILLIANT!!!
David?...what can I say??, and I know it's gonna annoy you hugely so....thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!
Parking (can't help it, it's always gonna be parking to me!) was a tad tricky sometimes, so until i get it perfect, I'm gonna trade fenders for tyres and stick foam insulation all along the sides!! I suggest my neighbours do the same
Gotta say, driving home in the car, all I could hear every time I turned the steering wheel was... 'watch the bow! Don't let the stern swing out!!' 'A little forward ANNNNNNND OFF...No dammit, too much thrust!! and as I sit here typing this at my kitchen table...I am still swaying!!
All I can say is the PB2 we did with Mendez was fantastic! can't say enough about it except anyone who is thinking about it...do yourselves a favour, stop thinking and just do it...it's great fun and a very valuable (and steep) learning curve. Simply a must!!
Thanks again David
and nice to meet you Julie.
