Chart Plotter from PC

I have the netbook/Opencpn/CM92 combination which works fine. For planning I have just downloaded the Marine MX app to my Hudl which looks good too, It cost less than £5.

I have the netbook/Opencpn/CM93 combination as well, but have just got a new all singing (Android) phone and was thinking about Marine MX for it... I think you have to buy the charts separately? What do you like about it especially??
