Chart formats

Any thoughts as to the best format for electronic charts?? C-MAP etc
I'm not looking for trans-ocean work but need fairly detailed images of The Irish sea, harbours etc.

I like the Admiralty ones, arcs skipper or something like that, but hteres a bunch of people on here with chart plotters,

CMap NT + (not CMap NT) and garmin blue chart are the current best. These are new, they look like admiralty charts. Avoid Navionics and other older Garmin stuff imho, these contain raster scans of paper charts which is not clever

Garmin bluechart will only work on a new garmin plotter that takes this format. CMap NT+ is backward compatible so will work on virtually all CMap NT based plotters made in the last few years
