No worries... Energy is finite in quantity as the universe is a closed system apparently... On the other hand charging FOR things will deplete ones finite resources for sure....

Nope it is changing energy. You cannot create or destroy energy. It's changing it into a different form, heat for instance.

If you are worried, stop charging everything. In a few days nothing will work (and your lead batteries will be scrap).
