some interesting features like the squared of bow, the cockpit I prefare to the fourwinns as its cleaner IMO

what do you think?

After a decade dominated by European builders looks like American are pushing more the envolope lately

Never been a keen lover of American boats before, but from the photo, that looks like sex!

It looks quite nice, the styling is quite edgy without being OTT and the red colour will probably not sell past the first few boats it is at least bold.

The big problem I have with all the US boats I have seen to date (apart from Chris Craft) is the interior finish is ok, but it always feels cheaper than the EU rivals. plus, and I cant see a floor plan for this, they do insist on bloody open plan layouts which are pants unless just using it as a day boat

but all new US builts have an open/close solution on the sport, I think also some smaller 35 feet models have this option

the FourWinns had it and so does this, if you follow the Chapparal link is pretty informative site
aft cabin is a bit small for a 40 feet altough featuring a head, but the galley is massive and can be compared for a 50 feet plus boat
on the other hand these US boats have usually 20% more tank dimensions to most EU builds too

Tasty! Having owned 2 Chapparals I love them...even if they are pricy! That rear cabin is a great idea....very forward thinking. If the £ to $ improves this could be a real winner over here! Even better that it is on IPS...

The squared bow is not really my thing, but further then that a nice and interesting boat.
Have you seen the engine options, almost the complete catalog from Merc and Volvo,
Do dealers need to take all engine options in stock ? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
The USDollar has become very low to the euro, two extremes in one year,
could this help to improve the revival of US boats here in europe in 2009 ?

the 400 Premiere is only offered with IPS 500 and 600,
if what you say is for all the range is normal...

US$10K for an electric skylight seems a bit steep though!
