Thinking of a trip to the channel islands in the next week or so in my princess 30 ds .Were based at Dover just wondering if anyone else is going that way soon? thanks.

Heading over there tomorrow, although not sure yet whether we're going to Cherbourg, Alderney or St Peter Port first. We will then be heading to St Helier, various bays around Sark/Herm and onwards to N Brittany. Two weeks to do it all in, so no particular plans yet.

Worth going into Granville too..in fact ,if you have "done" St Malo a few times then Granville is my preferred port. Dahoete also makes a change though HM may prefer to allocate you a finger than you use the visitor pontoon so VHF him. Note that Paimpol quite often now seems to have events on the quay at weekends...quiet it might not be.
