Channel Island cruise

Hi there, thinking of going for a cruise to the channel Islands during the summer. Problem is I've got three dogs that need to go as well. Are they allowed to visit the Islands and then return to England without passports? What are the formalities when arriving at Alderney, Guensey or Jersey. Can I jusy sail back into pompey on my return or will I need to inform customs? Any advice welcome.

Rather than ask here and get probably conflicting advice go straight to the Pet Travel Scheme on www.direct.gov.uk I think you will find it under Travel and Transport. Then you will have it direct from the Dogs (sorry Horses) mouth
