Not sure if this is something you guys have come across.
Ive just purchased a 2023 Channel Almanac as my old one was 4 years out of date or so I thought.
Planning to take a trip to Fowey at Easter so I thought I'd start refreshing my memory with tides, berthing etc. The 2023 Almanac states that visitor moorings are charged at £2 per metre, thinking this couldn't be correct, i consulted my 2019 version and low and behold it states £2 per metre also.
So I checked a few other ports and found similiar results.
The only item that I could see of any benefit to me was the up to date time times for the year. I paid £34 for something that is clearly not up to date. Expensive way of getting tide times!
I ran a friend who said he'd had a similiar experience with Chichester area. He actually phoned Reeds, their answer was, unless the port/marina notifies THEM then it doesn't get an updated.
Because I purchased it via Amazon Ive now sent it back.
Ill buy a tide times book locally for a fraction of the price and keep my 2019 version.

Which I make available for free on my website!
But if you want to drop me Twenty quid for a bespoke service I won't say no 😊🤑
