Just arrived here on our ay back from Sardinia. Wow what a difference......a whole new marina!!! Marina Coruna. The old Darsena Deportiva is still here hiding in the corner but full of local boats and the more expensive Darsena la Marina is still available.
The new marina is EMPTY. They have all incentive schemes like three nights for the price of two and six for the price of three etc to fill up the berths. (for 13m it is 72euroes for three nights in Aug).
We have been travelling back from Sardinia since the beginning of June so if you have any queries about ports en route I will be happy to comment.

Wow, progress at last! Two questions: what's the swell like in the new marina and what would an annual berth cost you there (we're about the same size)?

Well that part of the world is hardly short of anchorages is it BUT the marina there was often untennable in our experience due to the swell. So, if the new marina has sorted that, I'd call it progress. In our part of the world (La Rochelle) there are very few anchorages and even fewer marina berths so La Coruna is a destination call for us, although we always cross to Ria d'El Barquero about 50NM east of Coruna, anchor for the night, then sail to LC for some well deserved R&R. And at those prices we might even stay for 2 or 3 nights!

re Coruna--replies to questions

The swell be as it ever was but the pontoons extend all the way into the corner beyond the control tower so you could be well tucked in.
Yes there is less space for anchoring but you can still anchor.
The winter charges for 12 to 14 metres are around 280eu per month including water, elec. and wi-fi.
