Hello, well I would like to "buy some bits and pieces" and would like to know what do the pannel think or have any experience of US on-line chandlers ? and a list of URL's would be interesting ? espically if you want to compare prices !Funny how the only ones listed on this site are all in the UK ?????

Try www.westmarine.com I used them when in USA, their prices and service are excellent. Same feedback on various forums from peole who have purchased from the UK.

any old search will get you into US boating rings - and onto chandlers. Manufacxturers a good plasce to start.
Oft mentioned point is that other EU chandlers are closer and ofeten as cheap - Belgium esp.

A friend of mine swears by west marine,it depends what you want.They have loads of stuff that you just don't see over here.

Echoing others, West Marine are super to deal with their range of gear is magnificent and no bog should be without a copy of their catalogue.
