Chafing of hose

I don't know if any one has mentioned this, but my Sealine S23 with the KAD 32P had some chafing of the seawater return hose. The trumpet on the intake has been wearing through. Could be bad if it bursts and puts seawater into the intake. It is worth checking.

I have a pair of small merc diesels, but will take your advice, and check hoses now we are into a new season.

Currently a prop short of a full complement, being repaired at Steel Devs in London.

Yes, they repaired the very same prop 6 weeks ago. First time out this season, and I found some shallow water! A bit miffed to say the least, but Steel Devs give a great service.
