Hi all ,
Just agreed subject to Survey to buy a boat with old depth , autopilot and chart plotter.
Any recomendations on the best way to approach their replacement. I know the depth transducer is not working and that Cetrek is no longer in existence- all the electronics are Cetrek. As a sailor I am used to wind instruments, speed depth and sog etc.
I am not sure if a good chartplotter is all that is required or should I look at separate speed depth instruments for redundancy. Most of my cruising will be inland. I would value your opinions on this.
