I'm considering using a ceramic coating, as used on car, to protect the GPR on my boat.
I'm not interested in the "bling" aspect, or want or need to have the boat super shiny, what appeals is the claim that the ceramic coating lasts for 5 years.
Even if it saves me from having to polish and wax the boat for one year it'll be worth it.
Has anyone had any experience of using a ceramic coating in the marine yachting environment? How long did it last and which brand did you use?
And an additional question:
Are there any good independent reviews of ceramic coatings, with a focus on the marine environment?
