Century Cortez 270 full restoration project

Hello all,

I have bought this ship last year. Always wanted to rebuild motorboat, and make it as I want. I will try to post pictures of restoration project as much as I can. This is 1978 year boat from US , that has Diesel MAN engine (this is the only thing I will leave in this boat).

Boat sits in his long term place in my garage. First thing I took out engine and stern drive, both are goint to full restoration.

Scraping everything out.
Cut rear part, it will be replaced with new form wich will have door on one side. Wont need to climb anymore.

Took out all wires, will be interesting to put new back.



Closed the old school windows. There will be oval windows in lower line.

And swiming platform with new rear..
