Gotta love that colour, must knock £2k off whatever price it might have fetched - result!

Just spoke to the Bert or Julian or Stan or whatever he is calling himself today

he bought her this morning and then phoned me to try to sell her onto me at a profit

he adament that she is worth 3.5 K but he is unwilling to start the engine for us

he says the mechanic says it is a good one and I should take his word for it

so here are the rest of the snaps of the Tollesbury centaur if anyone is interested

I am sure he will find some-one to buy it as long as can learn to be a bit consistent with the name he is using

Is this the end for Tollesbury Centaur?

I think you misunderstand their crack sales team, who are working 24hr 3 shifts to keep up the sales effort.

fekkin essex men have been always been crooked - a broker and a pirate between me and the bloke selling the boat

if a man is unwilling to start an engine and uses three different names then it is time to step back

Centaurs are like no 14 buses - miss one and another will be along in a minute - old wrecks are emerging at the rate of around three a week.

this looked like a possible and would have suited fine

Point of Order Mr Chairman. You cannot be an ex Essex man, no more than I can be one even after 25+ years here.

well..... I spent my formative years around colchester

sailed at Brightlingsea

enjoyed the company of Essex girls

but I had forgotten about the ethics of Essex

 thats a bit concerning! I imagine you may be a tad older than me but my earlier years were spent drinking, sailing & messing around in Colchester, Brightlingsea, Mersea etc so our paths may have crossed in our earlier lives.

Anyway back to the daily grind, People to do, Things to see!

Essex has a number of these "one road in and out places." They are all a bit strange in their own charming ways!

I must say I found the whole experience most entertaining

no blood, petrol or money expended

no harm done although I hope he finds the boat hard to sell

you never know he might come back to me once he has asset stripped her

good material for the book and PBO
